LEAD AND GROW A HIGH-VOLUME COLLISION OPERATION

A well-established and successful automotive dealership group in the Albuquerque area is seeking an experienced Collision Center Manager to take leadership of its collision repair operation.

This is an opportunity for a proven collision industry leader who understands how to build high-performing teams, improve production, increase profitability, manage workflow, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can take ownership of the operation while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, productivity, safety, CSI, and financial performance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Collision Center Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall performance of the collision operation.

You will oversee production, estimating, workflow, staffing, customer satisfaction, insurance relationships, quality control, and financial performance.

This role requires a leader who can balance the day-to-day operation with the bigger picture — developing people, improving processes, managing KPIs, and creating a culture built around accountability, productivity, quality, and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all day-to-day collision center operations

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop collision repair employees

  • Manage production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency

  • Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed accurately and on schedule

  • Review estimates, supplements, and repair orders for accuracy

  • Monitor department productivity, profitability, and operating performance

  • Establish and track departmental KPIs

  • Identify opportunities to improve production, workflow, and profitability

  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, customers, vendors, and business partners

  • Monitor CSI and customer satisfaction results

  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain quality collision repair talent

  • Ensure repairs are completed according to OEM procedures and manufacturer specifications

  • Maintain proper safety and quality standards throughout the operation

  • Manage staffing levels and productivity

  • Address operational challenges and implement effective solutions

  • Maintain a professional, organized, and accountable work environment

  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and safety requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in the automotive collision repair industry

  • Proven leadership and team management experience

  • CCC ONE experience required

  • Strong understanding of collision estimating and repair procedures

  • Knowledge of insurance claims and supplement processes

  • Strong understanding of collision production and workflow

  • Demonstrated ability to improve productivity and profitability

  • Strong knowledge of departmental KPIs and performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of Collision Center Management experience

  • Previous Body Shop Manager or Collision Center Manager experience

  • Dealership collision center experience

  • CDK experience

  • Reynolds & Reynolds experience

  • Experience managing a high-volume collision operation

  • Strong financial and operational management background

  • Experience with recruiting, training, and developing collision repair teams
