Painter Apprentice-Full Time (Harrah's Atlantic City)

This position works with and assists Painter while learning and developing the necessary skills to function independently.  $18.7560 per hour

Responsibilities

   Prepares work area by protecting surfaces with drop cloths and masking area to prevent paint damage
    Assist in mixing paint, matching colors, and applying paints, stains or sealants using brushers and rollers 
    Assists with maintaining work areas clean and organized
    Completes special assignments for management as requested
 

Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent.  
    This position receives on the job training while working with the Painter, and also attends an approved trade school approved by the union.    
   Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
  Ability to Must be able to walk and stand and/or sit for extended periods of time during shift

   Must be able to lift, carry and/or push up to 25 pounds 
   Ability to grasp, hold, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, climb or balance

  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  Must be able to work in extreme cold and/or heat, dusty, noisy, wet and/or humid environment
