TSP Contracting is seeking a reliable, motivated, and organizedĀ Warehouse & Field RunnerĀ to join our team. In this dual-capacity role, you will be the physical backbone of our operations. You will ensure our central warehouse stays organized and our field crews have the exact materials and equipment they need to keep projects on schedule.
This is an active, fast-paced position split between indoor inventory management and regional driving.Ā No CDL is required, but you must be comfortable operating box trucks, pickup trucks, and cargo vans safely.
?ļø Key Responsibilities
Warehouse, Material & Tool Management (Approx. 50%)
- Inventory Control:Ā Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming construction materials and project supplies.
- Staging & Kitting:Ā Review project pull-sheets to accurately prep, pack, and stage materials for upcoming jobs so field crews can load out efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance:Ā Track, test, clean, and organize company power tools and electrical equipment; report any broken or unsafe gear.
- Shop Upkeep:Ā Maintain a highly organized, clean, and safe warehouse layout to ensure quick access to assets.
Field Logistics & Deliveries (Approx. 50%)
- Material Deliveries:Ā Safely operate company box trucks, pickup trucks, and vans to transport materials directly to active jobsites.
- Urgent Field Runs:Ā Respond quickly to last-minute field requests for missing parts or tools to eliminate crew downtime.
- Site Cleanups & Returns:Ā Retrieve excess materials, tools, and rental equipment from completed jobsites and return them to the central warehouse.
- Vendor Pickups:Ā Collect specialized or local orders from regional supply houses and vendors.
Requirements
? Position Requirements
- Driving Record:Ā Valid driverās license with a clean driving record (Must pass an insurance background check).
- Vehicle Familiarity:Ā Confident and capable of safely driving and parking non-CDL commercial box trucks, pickup trucks, and cargo vans.
- Physical Stamina:Ā Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy construction materials weighing up toĀ 75 lbsĀ regularly.
- Tool Knowledge:Ā Familiarity with common construction hand tools and electrical equipment.
- Reliability:Ā Strict adherence to theĀ 7:00 AM ā 4:00 PMĀ shift schedule to ensure morning field rollouts are supported.
- Communication:Ā Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with project managers and field foremen.
