Safety Kleen located in Fallon, NV is currently seeking a Lab Technician. The lab technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties.

Pay Rate: $24+ DOE

Responsibilities

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures
Utilizes basic instrumentation
Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion
Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines
Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

High School Diploma or GED Required
BS in Chemistry or related science preferred
1+ years of previous lab technician experience preferred
Familiar with lab standards
Experience with utilizing computer software for a lab
