We are looking to hire a qualified and experiencedDentist for their Dental Clinic.
Reporting to the Dental Director, the Dentist isresponsible for delivering quality dental care while overseeing and supervisingdental hygienists and assistants.
Schedule: Full-Time | 0.8 FTE
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dental services directly to patients
- Adhere to the health center’s Dental and Medical Clinic protocols and policies
- Follow established industry standards and guidelines
- Supervise clinical support staff as required by law and health center needs
- Support program development in consultation with the Dental Director
- Promote cost-effective practices within the dental department
- Maintain quality assurance standards in collaboration with the Dental Director
- Participate in provider meetings and related activities
- Participate in additional activities as directed by the Dental Director
What We Are Looking For
Education, License and Certification
- DDS or DMD degree
- Current California dental license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
Additional Skills and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Ability to accurately document treatment notes, care plans, records, and reports
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple dental operatories
