TheraEd Staffing Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join an outpatient pediatric therapy team in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

The SLPA will work with pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, providing speech and language therapy services and supporting individualized treatment plans. This is a full-time, 26-week contract position with a consistent 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Implement treatment activities and interventions according to established patient care plans.
  • Support patients in improving communication, speech, language, and related skills.
  • Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP and multidisciplinary therapy team.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for pediatric patients.
  • Follow all facility, state, and professional requirements.


Requirements


  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) credentials/licensure in Arizona.
  • Appropriate education and training required for SLPA practice.
  • Pediatric therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule for the duration of the contract.
