Position Responsibilities and Duties:Â Â
Able to perform all essential Entry Level/Intern Project Engineer responsibilitiesÂ
Attend and document project meetings (write minutes)Â
Set up and maintain electronic filing systemÂ
Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logsÂ
Assist with preparation of CPM schedulesÂ
Assist with updating and maintaining master CPM scheduleÂ
Evaluate and understand basic construction means and methodsÂ
Maintain a site-specific safety plan and pre-task planning process, including audits, meeting, training, etc.Â
Distribute all documents to subcontractors and maintain document logsÂ
Evaluate field problems and document PCI’sÂ
Prepare and maintain PCI logs on CMiC systemÂ
Review, analyze, and transmit submittalsÂ
Prepare and maintain submittal logs and procurement logsÂ
Perform expediting functionsÂ
Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheetsÂ
Code Accounts Payable Workflows as assignedÂ
Verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reportsÂ
Report quantities in place and maintain labor cost reportÂ
Prepare and document extra work ordersÂ
Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveysÂ
Maintain PCI log in CMiC systemÂ
Set up and maintain a Quality Management systemÂ
Maintain progress photo albumÂ
Compile contracts close out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.)Â
Maintain record set drawingsÂ
Document punch list workÂ
Perform basic functions of Building Information Modeling and model administrationÂ
Complete other responsibilities as assignedÂ

Minimum Skills or Experience RequirementsÂ
Minimum 1-3 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of power substationsÂ

Effective written and verbal English communication skills.Â
Proficiency and knowledge of in office practices, procedures and equipment.Â
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate.Â
Basic estimating and scheduling skills.Â
P6 scheduling experience a plus.Â
Construction related internship experience preferred.Â
Field experience a plus.Â
Basic understanding of construction cost accountingÂ
Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteÂ
Ability to read and understand plans and specificationsÂ
Effective organizational skillsÂ
Effective written and verbal English language communication skillsÂ
Ability to use independent judgment, self-startingÂ
Drafting and advanced computer skills a plusÂ
Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems preferredÂ
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:Â

$74,124.00 - $92,655.00
