We are seeking an experienced and dependable RegisteredDental Assistant for their Dental Clinic to provide clinical, administrative,and operational support for comprehensive dental services.

Under the general supervision of the Lead DentalAssistant and Dentist, The Dental Assistant will assist with dental andradiography procedures, prepare and maintain equipment and supplies accordingto established protocols, support patient administration and recordsmanagement, and assist with day-to-day office operations to ensure efficient,high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
  
• Prepare, sterilize, organize, and maintain dental equipment and supplies in accordance with OSHA and clinic standards
  
• Set up procedure trays and maintain housekeeping records
  
• Take, develop, and process dental radiographs as directed by the dentist and within required radiation safety training
  
• Support monitoring and maintenance of radiation safety procedures and protocols
  
• Order and maintain inventory of dental clinic supplies
  
• Welcome, interact with, and process dental clinic patients
  
• Perform telephone triage and conduct patient interviews
  
• Maintain dental laboratory slips and dental records in accordance with established protocols
  
• Assist with monthly reporting and quality improvement activities
  
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Lead Dental Assistant
  

What We Are Looking For

Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in good standing
  
• California Board of Dental Examiners-approved radiation safety certification
  
• 1–2 years of related dental assisting experience
  
• Current CPR certification
  
• Knowledge of dental clinical procedures, protocols, sterilization, and radiation safety
  
• Knowledge of dental supplies, equipment, ordering, and inventory control
  
• Knowledge of patient evaluation, interviewing, and triage procedures
  
• Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations for outpatient dental services
  

Additional Skills and Attributes

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  
• Proficiency in four-handed dental assisting techniques
  
• Ability to prepare, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot dental equipment and instrumentation
  
• Ability to develop and process dental radiographs
  
• Strong communication, interviewing, teamwork, and multitasking skills
  
• Strong records management and organizational skills
  
• Ability to plan and schedule effectively and work collaboratively in a clinical environment
