POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for auditing orders on the facility docks to ensure quantity, quality, and accurate labeling. The role will also ensure that the orders correspond with customer specifications or other requirements before being shipped. The auditor will also identify mispicks and missing cases, verify the individual case weights on the frozen and fresh meat pallets, and alert the applicable selector when an error is discovered. Upon completion of the audit, the auditor will sign off on the shipping label to indicate that the pallet has been successfully audited. The role is vital in ensuring that the clients are receiving the correct orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review individual orders to determine correct quantities, packing, and the general accuracy of the selected orders.
- Audit product orders to ensure they are on the correct pallets after they have been consolidated.
- Process picking exceptions for products that are either short, long, or missing.
- Document any errors that are made by the order selectors and report that information to the supervisors.
- Audit warehouse associates to ensure they are following warehouse procedures.
- Understand the Basic Inventory Control Concepts.
- Sign off on the pallets' shipping label to indicate that the pallet has been successfully audited.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Maintain safe work practices.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to use basic mathematical skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to be detail oriented.
- Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated food handling environment.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous auditing experience also preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

- The work environment is that typical of a distribution center.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
- Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, noise, odors, and moving equipment.
