Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of custom mechanical components and assemblies for a diverse range of customers. This role will work closely with customers and internal manufacturing teams to transform engineering drawings, specifications, and concepts into high-quality, manufacturable products.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain MRP / ERP data relating to Engineering.
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
- Fixture / tooling design.
- Sheet metal design / build to print.
- Build to print manufacturing.
- Create engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, or Inventor).
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
- Conduct testing and analyze performance to improve product reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure successful product development.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, and Inventor.
- Experience reading and interpreting Engineering drawings.
- 3-5 years of experience with an emphasis in design and manufacturing.
- MRP / ERP experience.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and thermodynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with engineering standards and quality management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sheet metal design.
- GD&T experience.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA).
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial).
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Manufacturing or Process Engineering role.
- Experience with specifications and standards in the aerospace and semiconductor industries, including but not limited to AS9100, ISO9001, & Copy Exact (Locked Processes)
- Experience with and trained in Lean methodologies, including but not limited to; 6S, SMED, VSM, Visual Management / Visual Factory, Problem Solving (A3), Standard Work, Mistake-Proofing, and TPM.
- Hands on experience with machining processes, preferably with multi-axis milling and turning.
- Experience using ERP and MES software, preferably Infor10 ERP (Syteline) and ShopVue.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
