Salary Range:Â $80,000 - $90,000

About the Role
Under the direction of the VP of Procurement, the SIOP Demand Planner works cross-functionally to integrate sales forecasts and demand plans with operational execution, ensuring alignment with Mrs. Gerry’s financial and operational goals.Â
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data and statistical forecasting methods.
- Align demand forecasts with supply planning, production schedules, inventory and warehouse and distribution strategies.
- Maintain demand planning systems, forecasting models, reporting tools, and dashboards.
- Track and report key performance metrics including forecast accuracy and bias, revenue alignment with forecasts, inventory levels, and demand plan adherence.
- Provide actionable demand insights to Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Support cross-functional planning initiatives including capacity planning and inventory optimization.
- Support the end-of-life process, helping to ensure the successful wind down of discontinued products and materials.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to incorporate promotions, new product launches, customer insights, trend analysis and market intelligence into the demand plan.
- Monitor and continuously improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias through ongoing analysis and process improvements.
- All other projects and duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Experience working with CIOP and ERP systems. Netstock and MS NAV/Business Central preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical forecasting, and data interpretation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and teams.
- Demonstrated drive for results with a strong focus on execution and accountability for performance outcomes.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Who You'll Work With
You'll be part of a collaborative procurement team focused on producing safe, high-quality products. You'll report to the VP of Procurement and work closely with cross-functional departments to keep production running efficiently.

This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (occasionally lifting of up to 25 pounds). Employees must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in production areas.
Work Environment
This position is based in a food manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels. PPE is required in all production areas.
