✨ Tax Intern
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns prepared by the firm.
- Assists in work paper and special schedule preparation for tax examinations.
- Works with experienced tax staff to develop accounting skills.
- Assists with special projects.
- Assumes responsibility for completing all assigned areas fully.
What You Bring
- Attained or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a desire to learn and ability to follow direction.
- Within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
What Sets You Apart
- Knowledge of basic principles of taxation.
- The ability to obtain and deploy a working knowledge of research techniques and the various research sources in the firm library.
- Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
