Position Overview

 

Adventure Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Albuquerque, New Mexico are currently seeking a General Anesthesia Assistant to provide excellent, high-quality care to patients at a pediatric dental practice and outpatient surgery center, including sedation/surgery. This position will report to the Specialty Services Manager.

 

Pay range: $21.00-$27.00/hr (PLUS BONUS OPPORTUNITY)

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with a smooth flow of anesthesia support servicesCreate a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
  • Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
  • Travel as needed to assist with anesthesia services
  • Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
  • Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

 

Job Qualifications

  • Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
  • Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
  • Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
  • Current BLS CPR certification
