Job Summary:
The Window Service Technician is scheduled 15-20 services a week.
Traveling to scheduled locations to repair/replace windows. Company provides vehicle and tools.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Repairs/Replaces balances, sashes, IGs.
- Inspects windows to determine what type of repair needs to be completed.
- Repairs/Replaces Cap windows with metal coil trim
- Recommends the best options.
- Installs windows in brick, siding and in various conditions.
- Records and documents work performed and what’s needed to complete the job.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of windows and materials.
- Ability to repair or install windows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clear Driving Record.
- Customer Service Experience.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of related experience or comparable training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to inspect a building by climbing ladders, kneeling, and crawling.
- Physically able to install or repair windows and materials.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
