Tradebe is seeking an influential sales leader to join our team as the Director of Sales! Reporting to the EVP of Sales, this role involves leading the Business Development strategy for a region and will be responsible for leading a team of talented Account Managers! Through your passion for sales and proven track record in the environmental services industry, you will be integral in inspiring and guiding a team of Account Managers to achieve outstanding results and contribute to Tradebe's continued success, expansion, and culture of excellence!

 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement both tactical and strategic business plans to meet and exceed targets within specified timeframes.

 

  • Client Engagement: Present the company’s value proposition and service offerings to key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

 

  • Account Penetration & Communication: Organize and coordinate strategic account penetration activities, utilizing the sales team, Customer Service, National Account Managers, and Regional Account Managers.

 

  • Sales Force Management: Oversee daily activities of the sales team across specific regions, ensuring alignment with business goals.

 

  • Performance Reporting: Communicate sales KPIs to senior management, providing insights into progress and areas for improvement.

 

  • Territory & CRM Management: Conduct regular territory reviews with Account Managers, leveraging CRM systems for performance tracking and pipeline management.

 

  • Sales Support & Development: Collaborate with National Account Managers and travel with Account Managers for joint sales calls, offering guidance and supporting their professional development.

 

  • Bid & Proposal Strategy: Contribute to the development of strategic approaches for bidding and proposals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Do you have what it takes?

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; other degrees or equivalent relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the regions, making joint sales calls with Account Managers and National Account Managers to current and prospective customers.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the environmental service industry.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a sales management role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective speaker, capable of presenting and articulating the organizational value proposition to drive customer growth.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
