ERP Solutions Specialist

This is a remote position.

Supporting prospective clients navigate complex business transformation goals, this position plays a pivotal hands-on role in evaluating financial system challenges, shaping transformation solutions, and demonstrating the commercial value of enterprise technology offerings. The role leads technical discovery, aligns solution capabilities to client pain points, and bridges strategic sales campaigns with practical delivery execution.

Operating fully remotely from South Africa while aligning with United Kingdom business hours, you will function as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting bids, discovery workshops, software demonstrations, and formal procurement responses. The position requires deep finance systems knowledge, commercial acumen, and the capability to translate complex technical architectures into clear, value-driven business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and discover client goals, operational needs, and pain points to shape appropriate financial software solutions.
  

• Demonstrate how enterprise finance and ERP solutions solve complex client business challenges and articulate marketplace differentiators.
  

• Support key sales enablement activities, including business case development, discovery sessions, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and demo environment preparation.
  

• Deliver public and client-facing webinars, on-site demonstrations, and solution presentations to diverse stakeholder groups.
  

• Act as the client’s advocate throughout the sales cycle, providing constructive challenge and ensuring solution responses remain aligned with client requirements.
  

• Partner closely with Professional Services teams to ensure smooth account handovers and collaborate across the wider software partner ecosystem.
  

• Provide feedback from client engagements to internal Product Development and Professional Services teams to support continuous solution enhancement.
  

• Execute additional reasonable duties as required by the Chief Commercial Officer.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience working with ERP software solutions, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  

• Strong understanding of finance modules within ERP systems or best-of-breed enterprise finance software.
  

• In-depth practical knowledge of finance systems.
  

• Demonstrated trusted-advisor approach with the ability to guide clients and internal colleagues with confidence.
  

• Capability to communicate complex or technical concepts clearly and simply to senior stakeholders.
  

• Strong written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities.
  

• Candidate must be based in South Africa and capable of working United Kingdom business hours.
  

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of Unit4 solutions, particularly Unit4 ERP.
  

Required Software Skills

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / SaaS Finance software.
  

• Unit4 ERP (Desirable).
