Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our Community management team. The Leasing Consultant will assist prospective residents in finding their ideal home, conduct property tours, process lease applications, and maintain positive relationships with current residents. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, sales, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and online.

  • Conduct property tours and highlight community amenities and apartment features.

  • Explain lease terms, rental rates, and community policies.

  • Process rental applications, verify documentation, and prepare lease agreements.

  • Follow up with prospective residents to encourage lease signings.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, leases, and resident information.

  • Coordinate move-ins and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.

  • Respond to resident questions and assist with lease renewals.

  • Work with the maintenance team to address resident concerns.

  • Help organize resident events and promote community engagement.

  • Meet monthly leasing and occupancy goals.

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred).

  • Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Sales-oriented with the ability to build rapport with prospective residents.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (such as Yardi, Entrata, or RealPage).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position.

  • Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed for leasing events, resident move-ins, or business needs.

  • Flexibility to work Saturdays on an infrequent basis is required.
