About the Role:
Join Rick - N - Ball Restoration & Construction, Inc. as a Reconstruction Estimator, where you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our projects. This exciting position offers you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in estimating and contribute to high-quality restoration and construction efforts in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for reconstruction projects based on onsite inspections, photographs, and mitigation estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary data for estimating.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure accurate bid submissions.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and local building codes.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in negotiations and adjustments to project scopes as needed.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating and sales
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and sales skills for client interactions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in Xactimate
