How You'll Create Impact

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

Portfolio Strategy & Innovation

  • Spot Gaps: Identify unmet clinical needs and market growth opportunities.
  • Gather Insights: Lead voice-of-customer, competitive research, and market assessments.
  • Build Cases: Create business cases, market analyses, and product requirements.
  • Guide R&D: Partner with product development to ensure designs meet customer needs.
  • Evaluate Tech: Help assess licensing, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Product Launches & Commercialization

  • Execute Launches: Support global product launches and platform expansions.
  • Craft Messaging: Develop product positioning, value propositions, and marketing collateral.
  • Plan Growth: Contribute to marketing plans, pricing, and revenue forecasts.
  • Secure Supply: Partner with Operations on inventory planning and launch readiness.
  • Own Ecosystems: Manage solutions across implants, biologics, and workflows.

Sales Enablement & Education

  • Drive Adoption: Support sales teams with surgeon conversion and procedural adoption.
  • Build Tools: Create sales assets, digital content, and procedural guides.
  • Run Events: Coordinate surgeon education, cadaver labs, and national meetings.
  • Support Field: Serve as the go-to technical resource for reps and customers.

Cross-Functional & Analytics

  • Unite Teams: Align Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, and Operations.
  • Track Results: Analyze product performance, market trends, and competitor moves.
  • Report Progress: Assist with business reviews, forecasts, and international support.

Your Background

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
  • Experience: 4–6 years in orthopedic sales, marketing, med-ed, or product development.
  • Track Record: Proven success supporting medical device development and product launches.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Clinical Savvy: Strong grasp of orthopedic procedures and surgeon workflows.
  • Collaboration: Expert at aligning cross-functional teams from R&D to Supply Chain.
  • Execution: Skilled in data analysis, project management, and multitasking.
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical & Job Demands

  • Schedule: Full-time, with occasional evenings and weekends for technical calls/events.
  • Mobility: Office-based environment; requires standing or walking up to 8 hours daily.
  • Strength: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • OR Readiness: Able to wear a 7–9 lb lead apron for extended periods in operating rooms.
  • Compliance: Must obtain and maintain hospital credentialing.

Travel Expectations

30–40% overnight travel.  Travel includes surgeon meetings, cadaver labs, sales meetings, educational programs, product launches, industry conferences, and field support activities.

Compensation Data

Salary Range:  $130,000-$160,000 USD annually with eligibility for discretionary bonus
