We are Kickstart Accounting, Inc.

Kickstart Accounting, Inc. is a woman-owned virtual accounting firm specializing in helping business owners understand their financials. Our growing virtual accounting firm is seeking a Part-Time (developing into full-time) Marketing Assistant.

This position will be working directly in our Operations Team, then 20-30 hrs/week on execution and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution using the following tools: Social media, email marketing, and podcasting.
Produce valuable and engaging content for our social media, website and blog that attracts and converts women business owners into clients.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
Email Marketing: Analyze behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Job Requirements:

Experience writing social media, marketing, or other customer-facing content
Experience working with online service providers, small businesses, or digital platforms is a plus.
An interest in marketing and a willingness to learn and grow your skills.
A creative mindset and an interest in developing content that engages, educates, and motivates an audience.
Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic performance metrics.
A strong eye for aesthetics and a love for creative ideas, and witty communication.
Familiarity with current social media and online marketing trends, with an eagerness to stay up to date.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
