A welcoming, smoke-free home in Brookfield, CT 06804 is seeking a patient, reliable, and attentive caregiver for an independent, cognitively sharp 86-year-old woman. She uses a walker for mobility support.

Schedule

• 5 to 7 days per week (open to 5 days/week M–F or full 7 days/week)
• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
• Approximately 25–35 hours per week

Family Specifications

• Care recipient is cognitively sharp and lives independently.
• The home is equipped with stair chair lifts.
• Smoke-free home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide gentle mobility assistance, fall prevention, and safety supervision around the home.
• Assist with in-home care and support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Handle grocery shopping, local errands, and pharmacy pickups.
• Provide safe transportation and escort to medical appointments and local senior center activities.
• Offer warm, supportive companionship.

Requirements

• Prior experience in senior caregiving, and mobility assistance.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation and errands.
• Patient, dependable, and attentive personality.

Preferred

• CPR and First Aid certified.

Compensation

• $22-25 per hour
