Job DetailsJob Location: Allen Clinic - Allen, TX 75013Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Shift: DayJob Posting Title: FLOAT MEDICAL ASSISTANT/FRONT OFFICE   Essential Position Functions: Must have previous Medical Assistant experience. Obtain vital signs: manual BP, temperature, weight and height. Collect and maintain accurate detailed Medical History of patients. Have working knowledge of basic medications and what conditions they treat. Assisting with minor in office procedures and injections. Collecting and processing urine samples for drug screenings. Drawing up medications and administration of injections. Responsible for maintenance and supplies of clinic rooms, pods and medications.  Check in patients for appointments, collect insurance information, collect co-pays. Outstanding customer service via phone and in person.  Prepare accurate and appropriate information for upcoming clinic visits and brief provider at time of visit on current symptoms or other items of concern. Work Location & Physical Requirements: Travel within DFW will be required for this position.  This is a full-time, in-office position. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
