Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the Front: Supervise and direct the daily operations of the Contents Moving Crew, keeping morale high, workflows efficient, and safety top of mind.
- Care & Precision: Oversee the careful packing, inventorying, loading, hauling, and setting up of residential and commercial contents. Treat every customer item as if it were your own.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely drive and maneuver 16’ box trucks (and larger transport vehicles) to and from job sites in various driving conditions.
- Detailed Inventorying: Utilize digital tools and physical logs to carefully catalog, tag, and track customer property throughout the restoration process.
- On-Site Leadership: Serve as a empathetic, professional point of contact for homeowners and property managers during stressful restoration situations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven professional moving experience required. Prior experience in the Disaster Restoration Industry (fire/water pack-outs) is strongly preferred.
- Vehicle Experience: Demonstrated ability to safely operate 16' box trucks and larger commercial vehicles. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to consistently lift, carry, and maneuver 50 to 100+ lbs on a daily basis.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous care for property condition, packing techniques, and organization.
- Leadership Traits: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a reliable team-first attitude.
