You love the opportunity to exceed expectations- and be rewarded for your contribution to the company!    Job Summary  At CADY, our Finance team is building a best-in-class reporting function that turns financial data into clear, actionable insight for leadership across a rapidly growing, multi-entity business. As the Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle, working closely with the FP&A team to build and deliver Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) packets that explain not just what happened, but why. This role will help bridge Accounting and FP&A initiatives at a consolidated level — taking the numbers Accounting closes each month and helping translate them, alongside the FP&A team, into forward-looking insight leadership can act on. While sitting within FP&A and reporting to the Director of FP&A, this highly visible role partners closely with the Accounting Team, the rest of the FP&A team, and business leaders to ensure financial results are reported accurately, analyzed thoroughly, and communicated clearly. You'll lead variance analysis against budget and forecast, translate financial data into narrative insight, and help build reporting processes that scale with CADY's growth. The ideal candidate loves the "why" behind the numbers — a strong analytical mind who enjoys variance analysis, financial storytelling, and cross-functional partnering, and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.   Responsibilities  Financial Reporting & MD&A Prepare financial reporting packages, including consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules. Partner with the FP&A team to build and deliver Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) packets that pair financial results with forward-looking context and KPI trends. Draft clear, leadership-ready commentary that explains the key drivers behind financial performance. Assist in creating the process for balance sheet and cash flow analysis and forecasting; build executive reporting that helps make critical growth decisions Support the annual capital budget preparation process in partnership with Accounting, FP&A, and various business owners CAPEX Analysis and fixed asset tracking and reporting, including capital project schedules and rollforwards. Prepare and review supporting schedules and materials used in leadership presentations. Variance Analysis & Business Insights Conduct monthly variance analysis as part of the fast-paced close process, partnering with Accounting, FP&A, and business owners to explain budget and forecast variances across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow; identify action items where needed Track and report on core KPIs, in partnership with the FP & A team. Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making. Cross-Functional Partnering Help drive successful partnership between Accounting and FP&A — ensuring actuals, variance drivers, and KPI context flow cleanly from close into forecasting and business-partnering work. Serve as the primary reporting-side partner to the FP&A team, ensuring alignment between actuals and forecast/budget assumptions. Partner with business leaders on financial reporting initiatives and accounting policy questions as they arise; perform technical accounting research in various areas and draft technical memos Respond to questions from cross-functional business partners with a high level of customer service. Process Improvement & Leadership Identify process improvement and automation initiatives within Sage Intacct, Domo, and other financial and reporting systems to increase efficiency and scalability. Play a key role in developing a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.   Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, & Education)    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). 3+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or accounting, with a strong analytical and variance-analysis focus. Public accounting experience is highly preferred. CPA a plus, not required. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals. Experience preparing MD&A or management reporting packages, translating data into clear business narrative. Proven experience managing or contributing to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles. Experience with ERP and BI/reporting tools (Sage Intacct, Domo, or comparable) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP (or VLOOKUP), and SUMIFS. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn numbers into a story leadership can act on. Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with both the Accounting and FP&A teams.
