MasterTech is on the search for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Amarillo TX area. We have both Shop and Field Service opportunities available.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop and field service environment. 

Compensation:
  • $30.00 - $46.00/hour+ based on experience, training, certifications, etc.
  • Comprehensive benefits plan. Company pays 100% of employee premiums. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, etc.

  • Boot and tool allowance.
  • Company service vehicle and gas card available for field service openings.
Shift:
  • Day shift, roughly 7AM - 4PM, (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
  • Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
  • Welding experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge on construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc., equipment is preferred.
