About the Role:

Tornado Laundromat in Amarillo, TX is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
Reconcile daily cash receipts and sales records from multiple locations
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation
Support payroll processing and employee expense tracking
Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding billing and payment inquiries
Assist senior accounting staff with audits, budgeting, and data entry tasks

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information
