What You’ll Do This Summer…

  • The IT Internship (Summer 2027) is a 10–12 week paid assignment.
  • The internship is designed to provide a student with real world experience to support professional development. 
  • Students would have the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions, corporate meetings, networking events and/or community activities. 
  • Internships will involve value added assignments with the opportunity to interact with various departments to acquire relevant skills. 
  • The focus of projects would be in support of the IT department and daily problem solving, network and program and/or user technical support. 
  • Potential for internship to lead to full time employment after graduation!


About the IT Team…

The IT Team is comprised of technical individuals who are the masterminds behind all of Beech-Nut’s information and technology systems. The team is responsible for enterprise architecture, IT maintenance, network/system administration, IT security, and supporting all IT infrastructure and systems. The team works diligently to develop and implement Beech-Nut’s IT systems to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness for our team so we can deliver high quality, safe, and nutritious foods for babies and toddlers!


About the Work Environment…

This position is located at the Amsterdam, New York LEED® certified production facility. Most job functions are performed in a well-lit, environmentally controlled office environment. The candidate will also be required to work in an environment that requires hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection and lab coat. Restrictions include wearing of jewelry, nail polish and acrylic nails. Other personal protection equipment may be required for certain tasks.

What You’ll Need…

  • Must be registered as a current fulltime student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related field. Prefer at least 3rd year of study has been completed. Students must demonstrate a 3.0 cumulative GPA. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence; ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Applicant must be authorized to work in the US for the entire duration of the internship. 
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Above average skills, especially in Excel.
