Tomorrow Water is hiring an Entry level Electrical Engineer / I&C Engineer. Join a nimble, multinational cleantech company working on the latest water treatment technologies. Job Summary:

We are hiring an Entry-Level Electrical / I&C Engineer (1–3 years of experience) to join our engineering team in Anaheim, CA. Working alongside Senior Engineers, Process Leads, and Project Managers, you will support the design, equipment specification, and execution of complex system integration, EPC, and turnkey water and wastewater treatment projects. This role offers hands-on design experience, mentorship from industry experts, and a direct trajectory toward full project ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Work with senior engineers to assist in the design of electrical systems including Motor Control Centers (MCC), Control Panels, Local Control Panels (LCP), and junction boxes specifically for water/wastewater applications

•        Support developing and reviewing single line diagrams, control panel drawings, and P&ID diagram reviews

•        Support developing interconnecting wiring diagrams between various equipment and subsystems

•        Support developing schematics, loop diagrams, layout drawings, and installation drawings

•        Design control configuration schemes tailored to project-specific requirements

•        Collaborate with PLC programmers to develop control strategies for water/wastewater treatment equipment

•        Configure and troubleshoot various control and data network protocols

•        Create instrument data sheets and technical specifications for electrical and I&C components

•        Learn and apply UL508A, NEC standards, and current industry codes in designs and implementations, with guidance from other Engineers.

•        Support testing and simulation of control systems for factory and field acceptance tests

•        Prepare reports and maintain project documentation according to company procedure

•        Assist in assessing project specifications and identifying potential risks and budget constraints

•        Support senior engineers in coordinating with panel fabrication vendors during manufacturing processes

•        Assist senior engineers in communicating technical electrical and control system details to clients

•        Provide field support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases

•        Some travel may be required to support business and project work tasks.

Qualifications:

•        B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, or relevant work experience may be substituted.

•        1 to 3 years of experience in an engineering or architectural setting

•        Recent graduates with relevant internship, co-op, or academic project experience in electrical or controls engineering are encouraged to apply.

•        Proficient in Adobe PDF, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

•        Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design applications; willingness to develop proficiency is valued

•        Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.

•        Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose solutions to problems.

•        Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills

•        Strong work ethic with an unwavering commitment to quality and professional work.

Travel: Work takes place in a combination of office settings and construction sites. Occasional travel to project sites, manufacturing facilities, and client meetings may be required.
