LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Anchorage, AK.
Work Schedule:Â Â Monday-Friday 5:00pm-1:30am
Job ResponsibilitiesÂ
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingÂ
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasÂ
Accurately identify and label specimens Â
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities Â
Meet department activity and production goals
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples Â
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Â
Resolve and document any problem specimensÂ
Â
Minimum Qualification:Â
High School Diploma or GED equivalentÂ
Preferred Qualification:Â
Current or prior LabCorp experienceÂ
6 months ofexperience in alab or specimen processing
6 months of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience
6 months of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office,clinic or hospital
6 months of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment

Comfortable handling biological specimens Â
Ability to accurately identify specimens Â
Experience working in a team environment Â
Strong data entry and organizational skillsÂ
High level of attention to detailÂ
Proficient in MS Office Â
Ability to lift up to 40lbs. Â
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Â
