The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for executing enterprise-wide IT asset management processes through the entire asset lifecycle. This role processes purchase orders, maintains accurate IT asset records, collaborates with accounts payable to ensure timely processing of IT-related purchases, and supports inventory and audit activities. Working closely with their leader, this position helps implement and refine asset management procedures and tools. The IT Asset Management Specialist also engages with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency across asset management operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement, receipt and deployment of hardware and software assets in alignment with IT Asset Management policies and procedures.
  • Accurately define, record, and maintain IT asset data across Store Support Center, stores, and third-party sites.
  • Manage asset disposal processes, including documentation and coordination with third party vendors and Accounting to ensure proper tracking and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to verify receipt, issuance, and documentation of equipment; track and reconcile invoices, proactively resolving discrepancies and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Assist in determining and maintaining appropriate safety stock levels for IT assets such as laptops, monitors, servers, headphones, printers, Pin Pads, Point of Sale Devices, Network Switches, Access Points, Registers, and Mobile Devices.
  • Support the tracking and management of software licenses, warranties, and maintenance agreements in accordance with established policies.
  • Contribute to the documentation and execution of testing procedures for software and hardware to ensure compatibility with Casey’s systems.
  • Partner with the IT Help Desk to facilitate IT asset deployment and support at store locations.
  • Recommend and assist in implementing process improvements related to IT asset management workflows, procedures, and reporting capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Starting pay range: $61,100 ‎-‏‏‎ ‎$80,200. ‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company. 

Qualifications
  • This position requires authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future. Casey’s will not provide sponsorship or employer support for applications or petitions for F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, J-1, or any other employment-based visa.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work-related experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in information technology (IT) is required.
    Experience with IT Asset Management and accounting practices.
  • General knowledge of network and IT infrastructure equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Outlook, etc. Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting with occasional work time spent in a warehouse and/or store setting.
  • Must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards; transport small parcels, packages, and other items; and to traverse short distances
    throughout the building.
  • Minimal travel may be required, which could include overnight stays.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with IT Asset Management tools, i.e., Device 42, ServiceNow, BMC, Intune, Workspace One, Coupa, Oracle.
