Key Responsibilities Include:
- Light Duty Warehouse Person fills orders of nonexpendable and expendable items for shipment to all Casey’s store locations.
- Examines and visually determines correct bay, shelf and slot numbers containing products to be repacked for shipment.
- Verifies visually and through pick system each order label for an accurate description and quantity of product ordered.
- Selects specified products from the correct pick slot, inspects any damage and places items into tote container.
- Scans tote barcodes to ensure containers are labeled with the correct store numbers before being shipped.
- Examines tote containers prior to filling to ensure cleanliness per food safety plan, wiping with clean cloth if there is minimal debris.
- Replenishes product in proper pick slots, either by pallet or by case.
- Complies with established Company safety procedures and all food safety regulations.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Shift is Monday thru Friday from 6am - 2:30p with overtime as needed.
- Compensation:
- Starting Pay: $17.50/hour. Team Members are eligible for an increase to $19.25/hour after 6 months of employment based on meeting performance standards.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures and techniques utilized in handling and storing stock items is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age to apply for and work in the Ankeny, Iowa warehouse.
- Functional reading, writing and numerical skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and close collaboration with team members. Work schedules may vary based on operational needs. Physical requirements include prolonged walking and standing for 8 to 10 hours per shift, as well as frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and supplies. Employees must be able to load supplies into totes and safely lift and transport items weighing up to 55 pounds as needed.
