We're looking for a confident and organized professional who knows how to create an exceptional experience from the moment a patient walks through the door.
Ann Arbor Smiles Dental Group is a dentist-owned practice that has proudly served the Ann Arbor community for 40 years. We are growing, but intentionally not becoming a chain. As we continue to expand, we're creating real opportunities for advancement for people who want to take on greater responsibility and build a career with us.
The Role
As a Care Coordination Team Member, you'll be a key part of the patient experience. You'll work closely with our doctors, clinical team, and administrative team to help patients navigate their care and keep the experience organized, welcoming, and seamless.

Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
Managing patient records and maintaining accurate information
Handling phone calls and patient questions with confidence and professionalism
Coordinating closely with the clinical team to keep patient care moving smoothly
Verifying dental insurance benefits and helping patients understand their coverage
Discussing treatment-related financial information and assisting with collections
Helping patients understand their options and navigate the administrative side of their care
Supporting a positive patient experience from scheduling through completion of care
Who We're Looking For
Experience is preferred.

You should be someone who:
Communicates exceptionally well with patients and coworkers
Is comfortable discussing insurance, treatment, and financial matters

Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
Is dependable, professional, and confident in a patient-facing environment
Works well as part of a team
Learns quickly and adapts well to new systems and processes
Understands that excellent patient care includes both the clinical experience and everything surrounding it
An associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is a plus, but relevant experience and transferable skills matter most.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, with full-time hours available for the right candidate. We're willing to be flexible for an exceptional candidate.
The position requires working on-site at our various Ann Arbor locations. Some evenings and occasional weekends may be required.
