Job DetailsJob Location: Lenlock Office - Anniston, AL 36206 Directs the operations of a small to medium sized credit union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. Has established lending authority. Provides Quality Member Service by leading and equipping branch staff to accomplish their assigned job duties.   Directs, reviews, schedules, trains, develops, motivates, interviews and disciplines branch personnel; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the branch; conducts performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Underwrites consumer loans up to the amount assigned per Credit Union policy; reviews and approves underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel. Makes scheduled visits to assigned new and existing SEGs in order to develop and foster relationships in connection with Business Development. Responsible for recruiting new SEGs. Assists Senior Management with Business Development, charitable-related events, and community involvement. Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience.   Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.   Interpersonal Skills Motivating or influencing others is a material part of the job. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy.   Other Skills Able to operate an adding machine, keyboard, and computer as well as various computer applications including Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and leadership skills.   Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Continuous use of hands in repetitive tasks such as simple grasping, twisting/turning of wrists; finger dexterity to perform various clerical duties such as typing, writing, and handling money. Continuous speaking and hearing for interaction with members and coworkers. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less for normal processing of members' transactions.
