ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Incumbent has frequent contact with officers, employees, and other professionals by phone and written communication.
  • Fulfill account research requests, encoding and posting corrections, and check adjustments.
  • Process sensitive legal actions using the highest standard of confidentiality.
  • Review online reports for checking, savings, time deposit, and retirement accounts.
  • Duties and responsibilities require confidentiality, problem solving, judgment, initiative and attention to detail.
  • Results of work are rarely checked; consequence of errors is substantial, involving loss of time, money, and goodwill.
  • Physical effort is average, requiring the use of computer equipment for most of the workday.
  • Actively participate in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established Bank policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Six (6) months banking experience or one (1) year stable work history performing clerical or bookkeeping duties required.
  • Requires exceptional written and verbal communication along with general business and mathematical knowledge.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and 10-key by touch.
  • Must be able to maintain working knowledge of bank regulations, policies, procedures, and legal terminology acquired on the job.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work in a demanding, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to handle stress, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable attendance is essential for this position.
