Skillforce is hiring for reliable Demolition Laborers for commercial projects in Arlington, VA. We’re seeking hardworking individuals to assist with a commercial new build build project including equipment removal and Plumbing and HVAC demo support.
PAY AND SCHEDULE:
Pay:Â $25 per hour
Schedule:Â 40 hours guaranteed with possibility of overtime
Responsibilities
- Perform interior and selective demolition work safely and efficiently
- Remove walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and other building materials
- Operate hand and power tools
- Load, sort, and dispose of debris and demolition materials
- Assist with site preparation for new construction activities
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work effectively as part of a construction team
Requirements
- Previous demolition, construction, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50+ lbs
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Reliable transportation to Arlington job site
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required
