The Opportunity:
Focus on developing and delivering instructional materials for security, export control, and engineering support staff by integrating computer-based tools and graphics. Facilitate a range of course formats to ensure security personnel receive mission-ready training. Lead comprehensive Instructional Systems Design (ISD) work by providing effective classroom techniques, developing new curriculum and supporting educational materials, and providing virtual instructional and facilitation support. Coordinate, monitor, and manage training schedules across multiple disciplines and with multiple international stakeholders. Support reviews and assessments of multinational training activities to confirm consistent application of training objectives and learning outcomes. Work independently without considerable direction.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience performing instructional design tasks using the ADDIE method and adult learning methodologies in a professional environment
- 5+ years of experience designing instructor-led and web-based training
- Experience reviewing course guides, materials, or policies as a technical writer to ensure compliance, clarity, and formatting requirements
- Experience developing security training materials, including in-person, virtual, and static or booth displays
- Experience analyzing trend data to identify competency shortfalls, developing mitigation strategies, and incorporating them into holistic curriculum and evaluation tools for effectiveness and tracking
- Experience developing, implementing, and tracking annual security training programs with trend analysis
- Ability to coordinate effectively across government, contractor, and external stakeholders, prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence, and lead a team in fast-paced classified environments
- Secret clearance

- Completion of the Developing a Security Education and Training Program (GS104.16) Course
Nice If You Have:
- Experience leading teams with a globalized target audience, including foreign partners, and with administrative duties such as scheduling execution of security-related meetings, conferences, and other events or activities
- Knowledge of security protocols such as security checks, oversight of secure spaces, and visitor access and badging
- Knowledge of U.S. international or foreign affairs objectives, the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes
- Knowledge of international relations policy objectives within security assistance
- Knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
- Ability to communicate and interact, both in writing and verbally, with colleagues, counterparts, senior officials in various U.S. and foreign government military or civilian agencies, and representatives of various cultures with tact and diplomacy on all occasions
- Ability to think independently, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
- Master’s degree
- Adult Learning Theories and Implementation Certification
- Ability to obtain an Acquisitions and Contracting Basics in the NISP (IS123.16), and Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), or a Physical Security Certification (PSC), prior to hire date
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
