Cummings Electrical is hiring a Logistics Supervisor at our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. 
 
Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team to oversee the safe and efficient movement of large equipment and materials within our manufacturing facility
- Schedule and assign tasks to logistics staff to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities, including equipment handling with gantry systems, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
- Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback to maintain a productive, safety-conscious work environment
- Ensure safety compliance by enforcing company policies and industry regulations regarding equipment handling and machinery operation
- Coordinate with other departments such as production, quality, and 3rd party support staff to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials and equipment
- Optimize space utilization for the storage and movement of large equipment, maximizing facility efficiency
- Ensure the accuracy and tracking of equipment movements and inventory using manual and system-based tracking methods
- Maintain accurate records for all equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper documentation for inspections, maintenance, and calibration needs
- Support and enhance operational systems by ensuring that equipment and materials are readily available and efficiently dispatched when needed
- Experience with operating gantry cranes, forklifts, overhead cranes, or other heavy machinery
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience in development of employees and process improvement
- Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and motivating a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in equipment handling and warehouse operations
- Previous experience in logistics, material management, or warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing setting
- Experience with logistics or inventory management software
- Experience with KOJO or other Wearhouse Management Software systems
