The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, validating, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes across machining, assembly, test, fabrication, and engineered plastics operations. This role supports the production of centrifugal pump components, including machined metallic components and ANSIMAG sealless magnetic-drive non-metallic product lines with molded ETFE wetted components.

The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement, and production support initiatives by partnering closely with shop-floor technicians, operators, supervisors, Product Engineering, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and management. This is a day-shift, salaried position that works under limited supervision and reports to the Shop Supervisor / Manager.  You’ll work out of our Arvada, CO location on an On-site work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for assigned areas, including machining, assembly, test, kit fabrication, engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts, and injection molded fabrication processes
- Create, revise, and maintain NC programs, fixturing, tooling, standard work, process sketches, in-process inspection plans, process notes, assembly instructions, process instructions, test instructions, bills of material, labor routings, and shop-floor routings
- Evaluate alternative plastic resins, manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling, and process improvements to support cost reduction, manufacturability, quality, and product performance
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, production flow, assembly methods, space requirements, equipment layout, process capability, and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
- Lead analysis of manufacturing costs in support of strategic make/buy decisions, accurate standard costing, capital investment justification, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Participate in production traceability and configuration control, including changes and corrections to bills of material, routings, technical work instructions, NC programs, inspection plans, and test plans
- Support non-conforming material disposition, root cause analysis, customer complaint investigations, internal issue resolution, third-party audit responses, and corrective action implementation
- Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce variation, remove bottlenecks, and improve manufacturing, assembly, test, and fabrication processes
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Supervision, operators, technicians, engineers, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and management to resolve production issues and improve manufacturing capabilities
- Support injection molding training and develop working knowledge of internal processes, customer specifications, and best practices for sealless magnetic-drive pump products
- Identify, justify, research, quote, procure, test, and implement capital equipment investments, including preparation of Capital Authorization Requests as needed
