Description
Eliada is seeking motivated and dependable Farm Interns interested in gaining hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, horticulture, and nonprofit work. Interns will work alongside Eliada staff to maintain the farm and greenhouses while learning practical skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment.Â
Previous farming or gardening experience is required. We are looking for people who are comfortable working with plants or in greenhouses.Â
What You'll Do: Depending on the season and farm needs, interns may:Â
• Plant, water, weed, maintain, and harvest cropsÂ
• Prepare garden beds and assist with soil health Â
• Help with farm and garden maintenanceÂ
• Assist with harvesting produce
• Use and maintain basic hand tools safelyÂ
• Support seasonal farm projects and volunteer workdaysÂ
• Assist with educational or community activities connected to the farmÂ
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Requirements
 We are looking for someone who is:Â
• Dependable and able to commit to at least 10 hours per weekÂ
• A good listener who is comfortable following directions and asking questionsÂ
• Comfortable working independently and alongside otherÂ
• Interested in agriculture, horticulture, environmental stewardship, education, or nonprofit workÂ
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work. Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
Schedule:
Start and end dates are flexible and will be determined based on the intern's availability, school requirements, and Eliada's seasonal farm needs.Â
