Oak Plains Academy is a comprehensive and highly structured 98-bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents ages 7–17, struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. Residents receive an individualized treatment plan, geared to meet their personal needs. A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in the residents we serve. We are seeking a Assistant Director of Residential Services who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of the youth and adolescents we serve. The ideal candidate is highly flexible, organized, and a forward-thinking leader with experience working with youth and adolescents, preferably in a behavioral health residential setting. The Assistant Director of Residential Services is responsible for providing overall leadership of the daily operations of the residential program.

Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees staffing, scheduling, and FTE management.
- Develops, coordinates, and manages residential programs.
- Conducts performance improvement activities to achieve benchmark on clinical indicators.
- Facilitates training and staff development, with an emphasis on high quality residential care delivered in a cost- effective manner.
- Assists to administer budget, financial capital projects, long-range objectives, programming development, and all staff requirements.
- Assists to administer policies and procedures of organization to meet and comply with regulatory agencies on required periodic basis.
- Monitor daily operations of facility via on-site supervision and delegation of duties to facility staff.
- Assists to prepare periodic reports of facility operation and maintains facility records.
- Assists to develop and implement specific programs, in accordance with organization's policies, to benefit the residents.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with three (3) years experience in a residential setting or Master in related field preferred or;
- Experience in a residential setting preferred
- 21 years of age, with a valid drivers license in good standing
- Flexible schedule; abilty to work evenings, nights, weekends and special occassions as needed.
