Department Overview

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking a Urologist to join our established Urology Practice in Astoria, Oregon. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide services as a general Urologist in a community practice with the comforts and quality of life in a small-town while having an affiliation to the states only academic medical center.

The full-time annual base salary range for this position is $543,560-$597,916; commensurate with experience. Base pay does not include incentive pay, hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions.

Function/Duties of Position

The appointee shall provide services as a General Urologist at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, OR. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the background, focus, and drive to excel, as well as the ability to provide excellent clinical care to patients at a community hospital.

Practice Details

  • Established, collaborative practice focused on person-centered care.
  • Growing community practice where you will join experienced Urology physicians and a physician associate.
  • A four-day work week with dedicated clinic, OR and administrative time.
  • Shared call responsibilities with light night and weekend call.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate in medicine (MD) and postdoctoral training
  • Board certified/board-eligible Urologist
  • Current license and certification with the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners, Drug Enforcement Association certification, and CPR/PALS certification
  • Satisfactory record of accomplishment in ALL of the following categories: teaching, scholarship and service
  • Trained and experienced in management of patients with urologic conditions to include utilization of minimally invasive, robotic and open surgical techniques
