 Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility; advanced diagnostic technology; a 10-bed ICU; a maternity unit; a radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

Responsibilities

  • Assists skilled maintenance workers. 
  • May perform simple repairs on electrical equipment and machinery or minor repairs to the facilities, including painting, plastering, carpentry, and plumbing.  
  • Effectively communicates with personnel of other departments, medical staff, patients, and co-employees while performing duties.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of general maintenance or building maintenance experience.
