JOB SUMMARY: As a Medical Assistant at Clay Consulting, you will have a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the clinic by providing administrative and clinical support. You will support healthcare providers and claimants through a variety of tasks related to VA Claim Exams (C&P Exams). Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in medical procedures are essential for success in this role. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct IMO research accurately and on time as defined by your manager. Complete the daily IMO Support Tracker to document research performance. Meet minimum weekly IMO requirements set by the IMO Support Manager. Maintain regular communication with the IMO Support Manager to offer feedback and updates. Follow the weekly provider IMO allocation given by your manager. Train and support new IMO Specialists as needed. Assist with administrative tasks as assigned. QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:   Knowledge of general office equipment (computer, fax, copier, scanner, phone). Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements. Ability to type 40+ WPM. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Effective organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time well. Maintains a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to focus in a busy environment and manage pressure and stress productively. Dependable, follows company policies, and adapts well to change. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in phlebotomy is mandatory Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare setting is preferred. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certification is preferred.
