Phoenix Ortho Injury Spine & Extremity is a multidisciplinary medical practice seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / MRI Technologist to join our team on a PRN, Saturdays-only basis.


This position is ideal for an experienced imaging professional looking for consistent Saturday work in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment. The Radiologic Technologist / MRI Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and an excellent overall patient experience.


Position Details

  • Position: Radiologic Technologist / MRI Technologist
  • Schedule: Saturdays Only
  • Employment Type: Part Time
  • Location: West Midtown, GA
  • Pay: $28.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Certification: Active ARRT certification required; applicable X-ray licensure/certification preferred
  • MRI Experience: Required


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and answer questions to help ensure their comfort.
  • Properly position patients and imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Follow established radiation safety practices to minimize unnecessary exposure to patients and staff.
  • Utilize appropriate patient shielding and safety techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient imaging records.
  • Follow established imaging protocols and physician instructions.
  • Maintain radiology supplies and monitor inventory needs.
  • Ensure imaging areas and equipment remain clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist with other office-related duties as needed.


Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active ARRT certification.
  • Valid applicable X-ray licensure/certification.
  • Previous MRI imaging experience.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Experience using medical imaging equipment and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols accurately.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
