D And R Surveillance Shift Supervisor - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)

• Performs the duties of Surveillance Shift Supervisor during absence of full-time regular supervisors.
• Provides Family Style Service at all times.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversees surveillance operations and coordinates activities related to the surveillance of gaming tables, slot machines, and cashiers’ cages and casino cashier windows including the audio-visual taping of soft count room operations.
• Utilizes technical equipment to identify, record, and document illegal and unusual activities occurring in the table games, slots, casino cashier windows, and cage areas.
• Supervises, trains, and monitors performance of direct reports.
• Reviews all daily activity reports and prepares shift reports for management.
• Reports illegal and unusual activities to management and regulatory agencies.
• Handles highly sensitive information in an extremely confidential manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; advance education in law enforcement or criminal justice preferred.
• Must have valid NJ CCC Key License.
• Minimum of two years experience as a Surveillance Officer required.
• Must have keen observation and reporting skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Required to perform the customer service standards of the department.
• Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act respective to gaming operations, as well as company and internal controls, policies and procedures.

Key License is required and MDF will be sent
