Security Guard

Job Title: Security Guard - 3pm - 11pm (rotating holidays and weekends)

Job Summary: We are looking for a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational and communication skills while ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance and Monitoring:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter suspicious activities.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify security threats.

1. Access Control:

• Control access points, verify identification, and issue visitor passes.
• Enforce security policies related to entry and exit procedures.

1. Emergency Response:

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including alarms and medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with emergency services as needed.

1. Incident Reporting:

• Document and report any security incidents, breaches, or unusual activities.
• Complete incident reports and provide detailed information to management.

1. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Assist with inquiries and provide directions as needed.

1. Security Checks:

• Conduct regular checks of equipment, doors, and windows to ensure they are secure.
• Report any maintenance issues or security vulnerabilities.

1. Collaboration with Authorities:

• Work closely with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Provide assistance during investigations if required.

1. Training and Awareness:

• Stay informed about security best practices and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a related field.
• Valid security guard license/certification (if required by local regulations).
• Strong observational and surveillance skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

• Available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of emergency response procedures.
