Overview

Auburn Advancement and The Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center are excited to begin the search for a Development Coordinator! This position provides administrative, fundraising, stewardship, event, and donor-relations support for the Advancement team. This position helps execute annual giving initiatives, donor engagement strategies, sponsorship programs, gift processing, and special events while maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional donor service.

Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising, donor stewardship, sponsorship, and annual giving programs.
  • Coordinate donor meetings, tours, travel logistics, and advancement communications.
  • Maintain prospect, donor, and constituent records and prepare reports as needed.
  • Process gifts, pledges, naming opportunities, and related documentation accurately and timely.
  • Assist with donor recognition, impact reporting, and stewardship activities.
  • Coordinate and support advancement events, donor receptions, and council meetings.
  • Monitor budgets, process reimbursements, and assist with financial tracking and reporting.
  • Partner with marketing and communications staff on donor-facing materials and campaigns.
  • Manage sponsorship benefit fulfillment and recognition opportunities.
  • Supervise student employees and assist with training and task assignments.

Qualifications

Development Programs Coordinator I

  • Bachelor's degree

 

Development Programs Coordinator II

 

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in public relations work and general office operations OR
  • Master's degree

 

Development Programs Coordinator III

 

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in public relations work and general office operations OR
  • Master's degree plus 2 years of experience in public relations work and general office operations
