About the Role:

The Wholesale Parts Advisor plays a critical role in managing and facilitating the distribution of automotive parts to wholesale customers across the United States. The advisor acts as a knowledgeable resource, providing expert guidance on parts selection, availability, and compatibility to optimize customer satisfaction and inventory turnover. By collaborating closely with internal teams such as inventory management, logistics, and sales, the Wholesale Parts Advisor helps streamline supply chain processes and resolve any issues that arise. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in automotive parts sales, wholesale distribution, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with inventory management and order processing software.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with automotive OEM and aftermarket parts.
  • Familiarity with wholesale distribution logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance terminology.
  • Experience using ERP systems or CRM software.
  • Additional certifications related to automotive parts or supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage wholesale parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and support to wholesale customers regarding parts identification, compatibility, and availability.
  • Maintain and update customer records, order statuses, and inventory information using company systems.
  • Collaborate with inventory, logistics, and sales teams to resolve order discrepancies, stock shortages, and delivery issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale clients to understand their needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to provide insights that support pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or new hires within the parts department as needed.
