This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach frontline employees, manage

Ensure Shift Readiness: Coordinate with client maintenance teams pre-shift, verify lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and confirm equipment access.

Drive Safety & Food Safety: Reinforce PPE use, GMPs, SSOPs, and HAZCOMM

practices; ensure compliance with USDA/FDA requirements.

Inspect & Approve Work: Conduct equipment inspections before, during, and after

sanitation to ensure readiness for production.

Partner with Inspectors & Clients: Accompany USDA/QA inspectors during pre-op

inspections and maintain strong communication with client leadership.

Manage Documentation: Complete and maintain sanitation logs, deficiency reports, training records, and time/attendance records.

Enforce Standards: Apply company policies consistently, including progressive discipline when needed.

Adapt to Needs: Adjust staffing to cover short crews, manage budgets responsibly, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation effectiveness.

What You Bring

·        Bilingual Preferred: English and Spanish.

·        Adaptability: Willingness to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) and in all plant conditions (hot, cold, wet, loud).

Key Competencies for Success

Accountability: You take ownership of results, documentation, and compliance.

Collaboration: You work effectively with peers, client staff, inspectors, and regulators.
