About the RoleÂThe Leasing Agent plays a key role in supporting day-to-day property operations by helping fill vacancies, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and comfortable using technology.Â
This role is responsible for managing inquiries, conducting tours, supporting leasing activities, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for prospects and residents. No prior leasing experience is required—training is provided—but a strong customer service mindset is essential. Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂLeasing & MarketingÂ
- Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual property toursÂ
- Showcase community features and apartment amenitiesÂ
- Guide applicants through the leasing and application processÂ
- Prepare and explain lease agreements and documentationÂ
- Manage and update online listings and marketing materialsÂ
- Support marketing efforts, including social media and outreachÂ
Customer Service & Resident ExperienceÂ
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and friendly mannerÂ
- Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, and lease termsÂ
- Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptlyÂ
- Deliver a positive and seamless pre-move-in experienceÂ
- Assist with lease renewals and move-in coordinationÂ
Operations & Administrative DutiesÂ
- Prepare units for showings and ensure readinessÂ
- Conduct property inspections for cleanliness and presentationÂ
- Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and leasesÂ
- Collect and document application fees, deposits, and rent paymentsÂ
- Update leasing systems and databasesÂ
- Support reporting on leasing activity and performance metricsÂ
Compliance & CommunicationÂ
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulationsÂ
- Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and leadershipÂ
- Maintain professional and clear documentation of all interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent requiredÂ
- Leasing, Customer service or Sales experience preferredÂ
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsÂ
- Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and digital platformsÂ
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsÂ
- Friendly, dependable, and self-motivatedÂ
- Willingness to learn leasing processes and property management systemsÂ
